AlongRoute was proud to participate in the Greek Space Tech Forum 2025 (GSTF 2025) in Athens, a leading event bringing together innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers from across the space and deep-tech ecosystem. The forum highlighted the growing convergence of space technologies, climate innovation, and maritime applications, creating an important platform for dialogue on the future of the sector.

Representing AlongRoute, Dr. Georgia Kalantzi took part in Panel VIII: Space & Maritime, where the discussion focused on how space-based technologies and deep-tech solutions can help the Greek shipping and maritime ecosystem respond to climate and digital challenges. The panel brought together leading voices from industry and technology to explore how innovation can strengthen maritime competitiveness in a rapidly changing environment.

AlongRoute was also presented during Panel XI: Space & Startups, where our team showcased how AI-powered marine weather intelligence, powered by Earth Observation and other environmental data sources, can reduce uncertainty at sea and support safer, greener, and more efficient maritime operations. This reflects AlongRoute’s broader mission to turn advanced environmental intelligence into practical, decision-grade tools for the maritime sector.

For AlongRoute, participating in GSTF 2025 was an important opportunity to engage with the wider space-tech and startup ecosystem, while reinforcing the role of marine weather intelligence at the intersection of space, ocean data, and sustainable shipping. The event also created valuable opportunities for new connections and exchanges with stakeholders shaping the future of innovation in Greece and beyond.

We are grateful to have been part of such a high-impact event and to contribute to the conversation on how space-enabled technologies can support a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable maritime future.
