On September 10, AlongRoute participated in the Startup World Cup Greece Finals 2025 in Athens, pitching at SuiHub Europe as one of the 11 finalists selected for the competition. For us, this was an important opportunity to present AlongRoute’s vision and technology on a global startup stage.
Startup World Cup describes itself as a global conference and competition that brings together startups, investors, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders, with 100+ regional competitions across six continents and a $1 million investment prize tied to the program. Being part of the Greece Finals placed AlongRoute within a broader international ecosystem of high-potential ventures and innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
At the event, we presented AlongRoute’s mission to deliver decision-grade marine weather intelligence for the maritime sector. By combining Earth Observation, environmental data, and advanced AI, we work to reduce forecast uncertainty and support safer, more efficient, and more sustainable maritime operations. Our participation in the finals was a valuable chance to share this vision with founders, judges, and members of the wider startup community.
Beyond the pitch itself, the event created space for meaningful conversations, new connections, and exchanges with people who are actively shaping the innovation landscape in Greece and beyond. We are grateful to the organizers, judges, and everyone who contributed to such a vibrant and energetic evening.
Participating in the Startup World Cup Greece Finals marks another meaningful step in AlongRoute’s growth journey. As we continue to expand our reach, opportunities like this help us strengthen our international visibility and reinforce our position at the intersection of maritime innovation, climate tech, and AI.
