AlongRoute is proud to announce that it was selected as a finalist in the BlueInvest Awards 2026 in Category I: Ocean Tech, a category dedicated to technologies that improve the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of ocean operations. The company was represented by Georgia Kalantzi, CEO & Co-Founder, who pitched AlongRoute on 3 March 2026 in Brussels during BlueInvest Day 2026 at the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR).

BlueInvest Day 2026 took place on 2–3 March 2026 and is one of the European Union’s flagship gatherings for the blue economy, bringing together startups, investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders around innovation and investment.

For AlongRoute, this recognition marked an important milestone. The selection was a strong signal that the company’s direction is resonating: reducing uncertainty in marine weather data can enable safer operations, smarter decisions, and meaningful climate impact across the blue economy.

AlongRoute develops marine weather intelligence for maritime stakeholders, helping improve decision-making across operations where weather accuracy matters, from routing and efficiency to risk and sustainability. Reaching the BlueInvest Awards final further validated the relevance of this mission within Europe’s growing blue innovation ecosystem.

The company also used the event as an opportunity to connect with investors, maritime operators, routing and optimisation platforms, ports, insurers, charterers, offshore teams, and other blue economy stakeholders in Brussels.
