AlongRoute was selected as one of the five finalists for the Prix Bulles Pierre Cardin 2025, under the “Oceans & Space 4 Our Planet Award”. The award highlights startups advancing an ecological space economy for the benefit of Earth and offers €25,000 in development assistance to support the growth of visionary ideas.
Organised by ESA Commercialisation Gateway together with the Pierre Cardin team, the third edition of the award brings together pioneering ventures working at the intersection of sustainability, oceans, and space-enabled innovation. AlongRoute was recognized for enhancing the accuracy of marine weather forecasts through the integration of oceanography, artificial intelligence, and Earth observation.
Being named a finalist is an important milestone for AlongRoute and a strong validation of our mission: to deliver decision-grade marine weather intelligence that helps make maritime operations safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. As the maritime sector accelerates its transition toward lower-emission and better-informed operations, we believe advanced environmental intelligence will play a key role in that journey.
The final ceremony was scheduled to take place on 20 June 2025 at the Palais Bulles Pierre Cardin in Théoule-sur-Mer, bringing together the selected finalists from across Europe. Alongside AlongRoute, the finalist group included startups from Italy, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, reflecting the strong international momentum behind sustainability-driven space innovation.
